For me there is a big difference between open and closed eyed meditation.
Open eye meditation I find very useful for consciously anchoring and downloading in an awake state.
When you shut your eyes during meditation it’s very easy to fall asleep, it’s ironic because thats exactly what has happened to us as souls coming into this earth realm. Sometimes after our meditations we do not remember anything. Details of your meditation and or experience become fuzzy and you forget, only remembering a few key pieces of information. This makes it harder for you to understand the insights and epiphanies you receive in the meditation and you may struggle to implement the new knowledge into your mind instantly.
Before you go to meditate, download or connect to a higher consciousness you can ask yourself, if you should keep your eyes open or closed for this particular connection or meditation, you will get the answer pretty quickly. You just need to be still, otherwise you won’t connect to anything not even your higher self.
When your eyes are open, it allows for an open direct clear channel that you can consciously download from. For instance... a tree, bird, fish, clouds, water etc.
It is imperative and completely necessary to be in stillness to begin but once the connection is formed you will find that it is easier to stay focused and keep the connection and communicate directly as if on the telephone because you are awake, metaphorically and physically.
Your senses act as sensors for your reality… you may see, hear, taste, smell and feel your surroundings, your senses will also give you information regarding your connection. Eg. You may start to see a face in the trees, smell a perfume in the air, hear a voice, etc. These are signs and they should help indicate and confirm the connection you're making.
It’s with this methodology we truly start to use our entire being in a whole new way to read our environment as we are no longer beings trapped by our thoughts, feelings , emotions and limiting beliefs. We have a new way to function, live and observe.
The open eye meditation also allows you to form an amazing magical bond with nature, this really helps while you are being human and experiencing life on this planet.
Sometimes it’s hard to find the time to meditate but now theres no excuse as nature is readably available since we live on a natural physical world, there is always access to nature even when unground. Nature allows you to develop a deeper understanding of yourself first, before you go and start exploring all the many other aspects of consciousness, of yourself.
