The Game, The Dream.

Writer's picture: Wayne WalkerWayne Walker

You see through the game

You know it’s just a dream

All the other players

Please continue helping me

Hold strong in your heart

Let love guide the way

In the way you think

In the way you choose to play

Read the rules before you begin

It will help the game make sense

Only then can you break the rules

And change them to suite yourself

It’s like when playing Monopoly

Or any other card or boardgames

You can be a player that helps the others

Or play a ruthless, nihilistic game

We all have that friend when playing

They have a tendency to get serious

Strictly no stealing from the bank or deck

Glaring garishly they exclaim

You must play by the rules to finish

You must do what they say

They think they’re the boss of the game

You have to play it the way they want

Or they have a tantrum

Follow the rules they say!

They’re normally the sore loser

They always get upset

Shushing everybody

Every chance they get

But that’s ok, that’s their choice

We all choose how to behave

Remember...

it’s all just a grand old game

Then you have the other players

That all get along

Helping each other out

Now and then

Sometimes it’s considered cheating

But that’s ok to them

These players bend the rules

It makes it more fun for them

To play a friendly game,

In that way, they truly win

No judgement on the way you play

We choose to play differently

This is all absurd and that should be ok,

As it’s all a dream or game to me

I don’t play to win,

I just play for hoots

For me the joy is the game,

Getting caught up, is half the fun

Ultimately you’re just playing with yourself

As you know, there is all but one

Or is it truly, none

This is only true for those who see

This reality as a game or dream

Otherwise you just get caught up

Forgetting it’s all just make believe

Remember it’s all smoke and mirrors

There are so many ways to play

Don’t limit yourself while rolling the dice

In this game of life

Sometimes what’s right for you,

Just ain’t right for me,

But that doesn’t mean at other times

What you say, works perfectly

The wonder perpetuates patiently

As I sit in awe, I sit and stare, I be real still

I elevate even more

I do not care, what people say

I keep coming back for more

Just rest right back within yourself,

You don’t even have to try

I sit in my chair, reclining back

humbled graciously, i speak the truth

I do not tell a lie.

I learn from all the players

I learn from the game

Extracting benefits in every single way

In every single day

Thanks for playing in this game

Thanks for helping me out

What a beautiful game we’ve made

a conceptual world it is

release you limited mind and beliefs

and begin to truly live.
